holt is a contemporary restaurant hidden within a quiet alley in Taipei. Its name is derived from ancient roots, symbolizing lush hills embraced by trees. With great elegance, our team combines the finest local ingredients, creative culinary techniques, and diverse inspirations to present an enchanting dining experience.
The website embraces a serene, minimalist aesthetic. The homepage features a graceful animation of swaying trees, setting a calm tone. The photography showcases the intricate textures of ingredients through close-up shots, utilising simple layouts and natural light to transform food into abstract art. This reflects holt's refined and tranquil style throughout the site.
The website was developed by Transform Design Studio. I provided visual direction, including brand colours, overall style, and the use of existing restaurant elements for photography, to ensure the brand’s tone and vision were clearly communicated.
A custom lowercase wordmark with rounded forms for warmth and clarity. The subtle twist in the “t” adds a unique character, reflecting thoughtful design. Clean, modern, and versatile across mediums.
